Walt Disney Pictures has become a huge fan of Seth Green. Keeping the actor close with what at least seems to be a production per year, the studio has picked up Green, Mindy Sterling, Dan Fogler and Joan Cusack for their adaptation of the children's novel Mars Needs Moms.
Seth Green Leads Cast for Mars Needs Moms
Directed by Simon Wells off a script by Simon and Wendy Wells, Mars Needs Moms follows a boy named Milo who stows away aboard a spaceship to rescue his mom after she was kidnapped by aliens. Green has been cast to play Milo.
Mindy Sterling, who starred with Green in the Austin Powers franchise, is playing the alien leader of Mars, inspiring terror in all who meet her. Dan Fogler is playing Gribble, a friend of Milo, and Joan Cusack plays the mom.
Following the recent trend, Mars will be a performance-capture movie.
