While I would have never guessed a pairing such as this, I'm loving the triangle. Another project ready to parody the buddy cop genre, A Couple of Cops will have Bruce Willis get in front of the camera alongside Tracy Morgan. Who's directing? Doing his first major studio pic, Kevin Smith has agreed to helm.
Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan for A Couple of Cops
Formerly titled A Couple of Dicks, the detective comedy follows a pair of cops who track down a stolen baseball card, rescue a Mexican beauty and must deal with gangsters and laundered drug money.
Scribes Robb and Marc Cullen penned the screenplay. Warner Bros. picked up the project last year, back when Robin Williams and James Gandolfini were going to co-star.
Bruce Willis can next be seen in The Surrogates while Morgan is currently prepping for the remake of Death at a Funeral.
