She's all grown up. Well, sorta. If you've seen more recent pictures of Dakota Fanning, like the one to the right, you will see that she's a little older than many remember her; even without a break in her career. She looks old enough to possibly star in The Runaways, playing lead singer Cheri Currie.

Directed by Floria Sigismondi off a script she wrote, the biopic of the '70s all-girl band is beginning to collect its cast. The film already has Twilight's Kristen Stewart onboard and Dakota Fanning will make band member number two.
At the close-to-ripe age of 15 -- before you sick perverts start getting ideas, none of that statement is sexual -- Fanning is the same age as Cheri Currie when the singer made her debut. Like most rockers, Currie later got caught up in drugs. So cliche.
As a bit of irony, Dakota Fanning is also prepping to star opposite Stewart in the Twilight sequel New Moon, where she will play a new vampire.
