Coming off Watchmen, which included a nude scene, Malin Akerman has been cast to star alongside Ryan Phillippe in The Bang Bang Club.

Joao Silva will direct The Bang Bang Club off a script by South African documentary maker Steve Silver, which is based on a memoir by Greg Marinovich.
Akerman will star as a photo editor of the so-called Bang Bang Club, four combat war photogs -- Marinovich (Phillippe), Kevin Carter (Taylor Kitsch), Ken Oosterbroek and Silva -- whose photographs captured the final bloody days of white rule in South Africa.
Filming is expected to begin next month in and around Johannesburg.
Ryan Phillippe is currently in theaters (in some countries) with Franklyn.
