It looks like Fox isn't giving up on Fantastic Four. Though the first two installments er, attempts proved unsuccessful, at least in terms of creating a good movie, the studio is still hoping for a reboot.
Fantastic Four (Again)?
The good people at IESB report that 20th Century Fox is going through their library of comicbook adaptations with the hopes of rebooting them. Fox, who has earned a reputation of being unable to make a good adaptation, is hoping to forget about what's been done and try again.
Now, I don't necessarily believe Fox is rebooting the franchises to make up for their earlier mistakes. With both Fantastic Four movies considered commercial successes, we might as well just expect another POS comicbook adaptation only in it for the money. Possible? Definitely, even though Fox claims they plan on cleaning up their act.
How so? "Less bubble gum." Yeah, that just about describes it.
