Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
While Pixar and DreamWorks Animation are still the two leaders when it comes to producing quality CG-animations, I do appreciate the fact that every studio has gone gung-ho on the medium. Not only does that more CG-animations every year, but each studio has their own style and presentation. Take Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs for instance. From Columbia Pictures (Sony Animation), the film's objects seem to combine old-school angles with up to date scenery. Oh, and the colors are vibrant as hell.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Trailer
Columbia Pictures’ and Sony Pictures Animation’s Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will be the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children’s book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain.
Like just about every computer-generated movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will also appear in 3-D, the other popular medium of late. You can check out the trailer in Quicktime at Yahoo! Movies or below (via TrailerAddict).
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs opens to theaters on September 18th.
