Columbia Pictures has released a new TV spot for Angels & Demons that serves up a selection of new footage during its minute-plus running time.

What would make the Vatican turn to Robert Langdon? The Illuminati, and they're up to no good. The new TV spot for Angels & Demons shows off a bit more action than we've seen so far and updated special effects that remind me a whole bunch of the cool "thought-process" segment in The Da Vinci Code. Angels & Demons opens to theaters on May 15th.
