X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Whoa, now this is kind of spooky. When Fox was going after Warner Bros for Watchmen, tons of blogs, readers and the general consensus of moviegoers began wishing bad joojoo onto the studio (Fox). I can't tell you how many times I heard people say that the negative karma was going to affect X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the worst way. While the initial threat was for a majority of moviegoers to not see Wolverine opening weekend, something has happened that could be much, much worse.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Leaked
A copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been leaked and, as you might have guessed, a lot of people were already sure to check it out. I was first not going to report on this so to avoid encouraging more people to divulge in piracy, I think Fox now has enough of a head start to get it under control. This is not an April Fools joke. The copy leaked was an unfinished version that runs 15 minutes shorter than the beefed up copy that will hit theaters in a month.
What is so surprising about the leak is that it is almost DVD quality. How could something this good get out a month before the theatrical release? Trust me, Fox is working that out.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens to theaters on April 29th.
