Paramount Pictures has released a collection of weekend updates for Star Trek that range from a new TV spot to a MPAA rating announcement.

No surprise here, Star Trek has been rated Rated PG-13 for sci-fi action and violence and brief sexual content by the Motion Picture Association of America.

To celebrate the box office-favorable announcement, Paramount has released three new photos (above and below) and a TV spot (via TrailerAddict).

Star Trek will open to theaters on May 8th.
