X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Working online, I'll freely admit to doing stupid sh*t that might get me in some trouble with the studios. Fortunately, I'm not hired by the studios, so the fallout is usually minimal. Roger Friedman tried something a little different when it came to the recent leak of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Showing some serious sack, the Fox blogger posted an official review of the leaked version, while admitting that he downloaded it. Whoops!
I'm fired? Er, see you later.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Review Gets Roger Friedman Fired
Though there was original some speculation on whether or not Friedman would be fired for his review X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Fox has confirmed the announcement today.
"Fox News representatives and Roger Friedman met today and mutually agreed to part ways immediately. Fox News appreciates Mr. Friedman's 10 years of contributions to building FoxNews.com and wishes him success in his future endeavors. Mr. Friedman is grateful to his colleagues for their friendship and support over the past decade."
Friedman was credited as a traffic-driving blogger, so maybe it's time for him to go private; so at least he can get away with shenanigans such as this.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens to theaters on April 29th.
