Beverly Hills Chihuahua
It took me several weeks, but I had to bring myself to admit that Beverly Hills Chihuahua was a hit and I should review the Blu Ray. As a recent success, it is of course the pinnacle of HD home theater demos. The CGI mouth movements hold up so well that on Blu Ray you’re seeing real talking dogs.
On Blu-Ray: Beverly Hills Chihuahua
The clarity is perfect and the lighting is Hollywood so everything looks stunning. Of course the Beverly Hills mansion is full of color and detailed landscape, interior design, pink colors etc. The pretty parts of Mexico shine with bright touristy colors and smooth rock walkways, or golden desert vistas.
Poor little Chloe goes through some gritty areas, at least by Disney standards. The dog fighting ring, train yard and jungle are full of detail in the crusty floors, rusty tracks and dense foliage. It’s probably safe to call Beverly Hills Chihuahua the best looking talking dog movie on Blu Ray.
