In an attempt to show younger audiences that Star Trek is far from nerdy, the recent TV spots for the film have upped the adrenaline shot. The latest one in particular even kicks off by stating, "This isn't your father's Star Trek." Point noted.
Star Trek TV Spot
The new TV spot for Star Trek does show plenty of new footage along with a mid-air rescue of Sulu by Kirk. Notice the quick visuals, hyped up music, and get ready for what looks to be the best theatrical release come this May.
