Wondering what Crowe might look like while he robs from the rich to give to the poor? Then wonder no more! Universal Pictures has released the first production photo of Robin Hood, and Crowe looks exactly how we'd expect --- high strung.

In Robin Hood, Crowe plays Robin of Loxley in an origin story of Robin Hood that hews close to historical facts of the period. Abandoned as a child, he finds community with the common people of Nottingham. Robin's abandonment and trust issues hamper his ability to fall in love. He meets his match in Marian, a strong, independent woman.
USA Today has posted the first image from Robin Hood, featuring Crowe as the title character. Producer Brian Grazer touches on the wardrobe:
"He doesn't have the old Robin Hood tights," says producer Brian Grazer. "He's got armor. He's very medieval. He looks, if anything, more like he did in Gladiator than anything we're used to seeing with Robin Hood."
