Raging Bull
Raging Bull is grainy but you kind of expect it to be. From 1980, it was shot black and white to echo even earlier films. The black and white itself is crisp with lots of subtle shades effectively distinct in Blu Ray.
On Blu-Ray: Raging Bull
Lots of shiny sweat and blood in the boxing scenes, some detail in the neighborhood and nightclub scenes but not too much. Shiny cars, fancy clothes, dumpy run down apartments. It’s not a Blu Ray demo disc but at least it looks like the movie looked.
