TMNT
Sometimes when CG doesn't work out, you have to resort to old-fashioned live-action. We may of had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie a year back, The Mirage Group, who owns the franchise, plans to have another live-action TMNT installment in theaters by 2011.
Live Action Turtles
The announcement of another TMNT installment coincides with the 25th anniversary of the franchise. The characters first appeared in a May 1984 comicbook before spawning a lucrative line of toys, cartoons and three films released in the early 1990s. In 2003, the Turtles were reintroduced to a new generation thanks to television.
The new installment will work as an origin story, bringing back Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael as well as their master Splinter. Let's just hope they don't bring back the chintzy outfits.
