Night at the Museum 2: Battle at the Smithsonian

Now I'm curious about the direction that the Night at the Museum: Battle at the Smithsonian is heading. 20th Century Fox has released the film's first domestic TV spot and with it comes introductions to new historical characters we have yet to meet. All looks good, I just didn't know we were going to meet somebody from a galaxy far, far away.

Can somebody explain to me why Darth Vader is in this TV spot for Night at the Museum 2? Why would he be in the museum? While I always get a kick out of Star Wars references in other films, this one seems a bit over the top. Then again, maybe the film can think of a perfectly good reason Vader is there. I just can't think of one at this precise moment. Hmmm...
