Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures are still on the hunt for Gods in Clash of the Titans. Enjoying some crazy momentum, Danny Huston has landed the part of Poseidon.
Danny Huston for Clash of the Titans
Danny Huston will join Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington, Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton, Jason Flemyng and Alexa Davalos in Clash of the Titans.
Directed by Louis Leterrier, the film is a retelling of Perseus, one of the many children of Zeus, who must overcome a series of obstacles to save his beloved Princess Andromeda, including cutting off the serpent-tressed head of Medusa, who can turn a man to stone with a single glance.
Expect plenty of more Gods getting cast in the coming week considering that the project officially entered production yesterday.
If you don't recognize Huston, the actor had a semi-big role in HBO's John Adams, showed up in a cameo in The Kingdom, and will be seen this weekend in a major role as William Stryker in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The dude has actually got quite a collection of big roles, but right now I'm feeling some serious momentum.
