Paramount Pictures is keeping consistent with their media updates for Star Trek. With at least a few updates each week the past month, the studio is keeping with the flow by releasing a new TV spot and a clip attached to Lost.
Star Trek TV Spot
Anybody watch Lost last night? During the first commercial break we got to see an extended clip from the film that showed Kirk on that ice planet we saw from the trailers. I have to be honest, I'm a bit surprised that Paramount would have chosen this clip. When trying to attract a new generation of fans, you don't want to show them geeked out sci-fi monsters. Give them a small taste of real action. Explosions. Something. Or how about the clip of Kirk hitting on Uhura, that's cool.
Just my suggestion. And speaking of hitting on Uhura, we get to see more of that in this latest TV spot for Star Trek (via TrailerAddict):
Star Trek will open to theaters on May 8th.
