Ben Stiller
Ben Stiller has been enjoying a good run with the comedy genre and I can't help but wonder when he's going to pull a Jim Carrey and break out with an impressive dramatic role. While Help Me Spread Goodness could be that role, it still has comic overtones. Then again, that's only if he decides to get in front of the camera.
Ben Stiller to Direct Help Me Spread Goodness
Ben Stiller has been picked up by Participant Media to direct Help Me Spread Goodness, a film that will center on a Chicago banker who gets swindled in a Nigerian Internet scam. It is unknown of he will play the Chicago banker. Mark Friedman wrote the script.
The film is expected to provide entertainment while shedding light on the current issues in both Nigeria and other African countries.
The project has no start date just yet, as its waiting on Stiller to finish directing The Trial of the Chicago 7, a gig he picked up after Steven Spielberg exited as director.
