Though the pairing of Robert De Niro and Al Pacino didn't work out recently, I actually see a better combo with De Niro and Edward Norton.
Edward Norton and Robert De Niro for Stone
De Niro and Norton have been cast to co-star in the psychological thriller Stone.
To be directed by John Curran off a script by Angus MacLachlan, Stone centers on a correctional officer (De Niro) who is seduced by the wife of a convicted arsonist (Norton) up for parole.
Stone marks the debut film of Mimran Schur Pictures, a company formed earlier this year by private investor David Mimran and longtime music biz executive and former Geffen Records president Jordan Schur.
