I Love You Phillip Morris
About two months ago I was told that the distribution company, Consolidated Pictures Group, was finalizing the details on domestic distribution of I Love You Phillip Morris. Though the other studios shied away because of the film's gay-humor -- homophobes! -- the film should still do just fine at the box office; making this a great investment. Today Variety has confirmed the purchase.
I Love You Phillip Morris Coming February 14th, 2010
Showing their own brand of twisted humor, Consolidated Pictures Group plans to release I Love You Phillip Morris on Valentine's Day, 2010. If you haven't heard of it before, the film features Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor as a gay couple. Well, that's the short and sweet synopsis. Non-PC humor awaits!
The film, written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, debuted at Sundance and makes its Gallic premiere as a Directors' Fortnight offering at Cannes.
I Love You Phillip Morris opens to theaters on February 14th, 2010.
