Not only late but what I can assume to be very important casting, Monica Bellucci will add her talent, accent and beauty to Disney's The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Filming on The Sorcerer's Apprentice has already begun in New York City. If you've been following the gossip, then you already know that there has been a crash on set that left a couple people injured.
Monica Bellucci comes on as Veronica, a sorceress and the long-lost love of Nicolas Cage's character, Balthazar Blake. Apprentice revolves around a sorcerer who recruits and trains a young protege to help him fight the forces of darkness in modern-day Manhattan.
Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer and Toby Kebbell also star. The film has a planned theatrical release for July 16, 2010.
