While running around Cannes promoting Remember Me, which is set to begin lensing in about a month, Rob Pattinson has landed another starring role in Bel Ami.

An adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's short story, Bel Ami will also serve as the feature directing debut of Declan Donnellan.
Though Pattinson's stock went down a few points after criticism over his portrayal of Dali in Little Ashes, it so far looks like his career has been unaffected. Besides Remember Me and Bel Ami, the actor is also getting ready for Unbound Captives.
Directed by Madeleine Stowe off a script she wrote, Unbound Captives is set in the American frontier of the mid-1800s. Pattinson likes a challenge, and "the script is almost entirely in Comanche," he said.
