Sometimes a project doesn't get much attention until it selects its cast. Fortunately for Universal Pictures' Paul, this wasn't the case; but the latest additions should definitely boost interest.

When you have a comedy starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, there isn't much more needed than a par supporting cast. Universal and Working Title Films have gone beyond the call by casting Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Jane Lynch to also star.
Directed by Greg Mottola, Paul features Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as two science-fiction fanatics who go on a roadtrip, only to see their conspiracy dreams come true when they trek to Area 51 and encounter the title character, an escaped alien.
Rogen will provide the voice for the alien. What the rest of the cast will be up to is still unknown, but that should be figured out quickly with production set to begin this June.
Rogen, Hader and Mottola last worked together on Superbad.
