Though it's only a cinematic trailer, the first preview for Star Wars: The Old Republic is worth checking out.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Trailer

Bioware and LucasArts have released the first trailer for their upcoming MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. Taking what worked in Knights of the Old Republic (and KOTOR II), Old Republic will through in the whole massive-multiplayer element. If you don't know what that is, think World of Warcraft but with Star Wars.

There are no real visuals from the game just yet, but this wonderful trailer should be enough to get your geeky side going. In short - CG lightsaber battles are awesome...

Star Wars: The Old Republic does not yet have a release date.
