Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is sticking close to the cop slash crime genre. The rapper turned actor has been picked up to star alongside Chris Klein, Adam Rodriguez and Richard T. Jones in Caught in the Crossfire.

A police corruption drama, Caught in the Crossfire centers on two homicide detectives who find themselves caught in the crossfire of a gang-related homicide and a group of dirty cops. Jackson plays a gang-banger who becomes a reluctant informant.
The film will be directed by Brian Miller, who's making his directorial debut on the feature.
Production is prepping to begin in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
