Raising the Bar
Raising the Bar was a good lawyer show, but I let it pile up on my DVR because I didn’t have to follow the continuing story week to week. The public defender’s perspective did hook me in though and I’m glad to get the DVD set to watch at my leisure.
DVD Review: Raising the Bar
The DVD extras are of the standard studio produced EPK variety. Even the one promising a real public defender is really just a making of about how the real author developed the series. A roundtable with the cast is as informative as the editing will let it be, more just to show the banter behind the scenes.
No hard feelings about the extras. Still a great show to collect and pop in for some inspirational triumph over adversity. It just doesn’t offer any perspective beyond, “Here’s how we did the show.”
