Bryce Dallas Howard
After carrying John Connor's baby in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, it looks like Bryce Dallas Howard has turned to the pen. Working with writing partner Dane Charbeneau, the duo have cranked out a script for The Originals. Now, I don't know if we can call this much of a surprise, but Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment -- cough, Ron Howard -- have acquired the script for production.
Bryce Dallas Howard Pens The Originals
The Originals is described as an ensemble film about a group of twentysomethings who reconvene for a weekend in New York after learning that the teacher who shaped their childhoods has fallen into a mysterious coma. The idea came to Bryce after watching her friend and contemporaries deal with a quarter-life crisis.
She got Charbeneau onboard two years back and the two have only just wrapped it up. The delay might be credited to the fact that Charbeneau began dating Howard's sister Jocelyn. The two are now are engaged.
