If you like watching depressed ‘50s suburbanites yell at each other, then you deserve to see them do it in the highest quality possible. Revolutionary Road looks good on Blu Ray, so if they lost you with the screaming, you have pretty stuff to look at.
On Blu-Ray: Revolutionary Road
If Mad Men had a movie budget and Cinemascope lenses, it would probably look like this. You’ll see all the detail in the costumes and set dressings painstakingly recreated by 2008 movie artists.
The picture is clear, as it was probably shot with HD home exhibition in mind, and the colors are vibrant without overpowering the scene. Suburbia is green and interiors are decorated florally, but it’s balanced.
