With the release of both 300 (in a special edition) and Watchmen to Blu-ray/DVD this July, Zack Snyder has once again been making his rounds with the press. When it comes to his upcoming projects, it's hard not to discuss the 300 sequel.
300 Sequel Talk
The good people at ComingSoon caught up with Zack Snyder and were able to get the director to give some new information on the upcoming 300 sequel.
"I know for a fact that Frank [Miller] is writing right now," says Snyder, who explains that the plan is for Miller to create the story as a comic book first, "[He's] drawing away and seems to be knee-deep in it. I think he's going to head back to Greece again and do another reconnaissance."
Since the battles are expected to be massive in the sequel, Zack Snyder may have to modify the technology used in the first film a bit. According to the director, all the sequel really entails is larger terrain.
"It's going to be the same way, but on crazier steroids."
