Mad Men Season Two
This is the first time I’m seeing Mad Men on Blu Ray. I only snagged the standard DVD of season one. Now I really wish I had pushed for HD because this show is everything I hoped for on Blu Ray.

You can really see every detail the craftsmen of the wardrobe department put together. Someone was wearing a fur vest where you could see every hair. Certainly the threads in all the clothing fabric.
You even see natural details too. Betty Draper’s horse has all his veins bumpy under the brown coat. The lovely actresses let you into every intimate detail of their skin and I love that. Heck, even pieces of paper have fine detail.
The clarity is top notch for TV on Blu Ray I’ve seen. Many still show digital spots because it’s probably not the highest grade equipment. Mad Men holds up with crisp, solid sharpness and shiny sets to show off.
