Mel Gibson
Jodie Foster has finally caught on that she isn't as cute as she used to be and has decided to get behind the camera for The Beaver. Getting back with her Maverick co-star, she has picked up Mel Gibson to star.
Mel Gibson for The Beaver
Written by Kyle Killen, The Beaver will have Gibson will play a depressed man who finds solace in wearing a beaver hand-puppet. On top of helming, Foster will play the role of the man’s wife. Okay okay, so she will be in front of the camera too.
Foster's first priority, however, is to see if she can get the project studio funding. If she can't, it will still move forward as an indie.
The Beaver will be Foster's third film behind the camera, following Little Man Tate and Home for the Holidays.
