The trick Season Two announcement is basically a love fest for the cast, but it’s short and it shows that the trickery carries over behind the scenes.
Beth Reisgraf is my favorite actor on the show because she doesn’t play the blonde sexpot. She’s crazy. So a goof spot on her being crazy behind the scenes is an extension of that. It’s a bit weird that Dean Devlin’s own site promo’d his show like that, but it works.
Deleted scenes show more fun too. There are plot-related asides. Are deleted scenes from TV shows better than movie deleted scenes? It seems they’re never over indulgent, they’re just cut for time.
So that’s a fun set of extras to go with a fun series of mostly standalone minimovies.
