Even with the Avatar trailer quickly approaching, Fox is still afraid to show anything from the film. Instead of production photos, the studio has littered us with concept art and set photos showing either James Cameron or Sam Worthington sitting amidst pieces of equipment from the film. Cool, sure, but it's hard not to get antsy and at least feel a small bit of burnout. Fortunately we do only have a bit longer before the trailer, so I'm going to let all the new set photos slide, including this one.
Avatar Set Photo
The good people at Empire have put up a set photo from Avatar showing James Cameron playing with a big gun; though the weapon is actually a mini-gun. Besides the photo, the magazine also got a quick quote from Sam Worthington on the general premise of the film.
"It's a movie about bullies," Worthington told us on set. "The humans have come to tear into the Na'vi planet and strip-mine it. We're telling a story that's relevant now. It's filled with typical James Cameron messages, especially technology overrunning us all, which is what nearly all his movies are about.
