Everybody is producing nowadays. Natalie Portman is the latest er, victim? She is working with 20th Century Fox to produce a high school comedy titled Booksmart.
Natalie Portman to Produce Booksmart
Currently being written by Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern, Booksmart follows two overachieving high school seniors who realize the only thing they haven't accomplished is having boyfriends, and each resolves to find one by prom.
You know, kind of like American Pie but from the girls angle. Portman will produce through her Handsomecharlie Films banner. She is currently in production with Love and Other Impossible Pursuits and Hesher.
