Gentlemen Broncos
My only hope for Gentlemen Broncos has come true. While the viral videos for the film suggested that Flight of the Conchords' Jemaine Clement would have a significant role in the film, I didn't want to get my hopes up. But, as proven by the film's trailer, Jemaine plays a central character. Hilarity ensues.
Gentlemen Broncos Trailer
Benjamin (Michael Angarano), home-schooled by his eccentric mother (Jennifer Coolidge), is a loveable loner whose passion for writing leads him on an offbeat and hilarious journey as his story first gets ripped off by the legendary fantasy novelist, Ronald Chevalier (Jemaine Clement) and then is adapted into a disastrous movie by the small town's most prolific homespun filmmaker.
If you have yet to start watching Flight of the Conchords on HBO, hopefully this film (or this trailer) will at least get you to check out a couple episodes on OnDemand. Jemaine (and Bret) are hilarious. I do, however, prefer his voice in Gentlemen Broncos. Hilarious! Check out the trailer below (via TrailerAddict):
Gentlemen Broncos opens to theaters on October 30th.
