Michael Cera is like the male Julia Roberts for me. A fine actor, but he plays the exact same role in every film. With Youth in Revolt he plays two roles and, except for the dirststache, it is sometimes to even tell those apart.

Here is the synopsis for Youth in Revolt: The irreverent story about the wild adventures of a teenage boy named Nick Twisp who meets the girl of his dreams while on a family vacation and has to turn his life and the lives of all those around him upside down in order to be with her.
What the synopsis doesn't point out is that Nick creates an alter ego of himself, who is rude, arrogant, destructive and more confident. The idea has its moment, I only worry that this alter ego is too much like Cera... I mean the title character.
