As a bit of a surprise, Sony Pictures has released a new, Japanese trailer for 2012 that not only features the expected Japanese narrator, which is different, but also shows tons of new footage (in English)!

If you've seen the first trailer for 2012, then you already know what to expect here. Tons of destruction. Yes, TONS of destruction. More than we saw in the domestic version. While I first thought that Sony was afraid to show too much dialogue, they do at least show some more here, and one of the lines (delivered by Amanda Peet) does fall a little flat. Maybe she should have stuck to soft porn?
