Robin Williams
Hasn't Robin Williams had enough of weddings? Trying not to think of what that last comedy might have been titled, I was happy to see Williams on the comeback trailer with World's Greatest Dad. Going from dark film back to the magical kingdom of Disney, Williams has agreed to star in Wedding Banned for Touchstone Pictures.
Robin Williams for Wedding Banned
Written by Jack Amiel and Michael Begler, Wedding Banned will have Williams play the other half of a long-divorced couple who kidnap their daughter on her wedding day in order to keep her from making a mistake. The divorced parents rekindle their relationship as they elude cops and the angry groom.
Though Williams was allowed to have some fun with dark comedy, Disney has been keeping him within reach. Besides World's Greatest Dad, the next time we can see the actor in theaters is with Disney's Old Dogs, where he stars opposite John Travolta. That film will hit theaters on November 25th.
