Here is your courtesy call from your good friends at CanMag telling you to update your calendar for both The Expendables and Kick-Ass.

Release Dates: The Expendables and Kick-Ass

Lionsgate has announced that we can expect to see Kick-Ass in theaters first with an April 16th, 2010 release date. The announcement comes only a month after Lionsgate acquired the comicbook adaptation by director Matthew Vaughn. Following suit, Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables will open to theaters on August 20th, 2010. Because there is nothing like gory action to close out summer.
