Though shopping for completed films at Toronto Film Festival, Lionsgate has decided to also pick up Steven Soderbergh's next project, Knockout, that he will get started on after The Informant completes its run.

The cool thing about Knockout is that it has that hot-ass American Gladiator as its star. You know, Gina Carano, the mixed martial arts fighter. Relativity Media has already committed to finance the spy thriller, which is being compared to La Femme Nikita, and production has already been set for January.
