Last Friday Columbia Pictures was nice enough to release a low-res, but very extended clip for 2012 that was effing sweet. The studio must have liked the response, as they've now got a new trailer for the film that is very, very similar to that clip.

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. 2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.
While I still think the Governator impersonation is beyond lame, there is no question that the destruction looks amazing.
