Having pushed back The Road a month to November, The Weinstein Company freed up some time for marketing. To get the ball rolling, the studio has sent over the film's official one-sheet.

Academy Award nominee Viggo Mortensen, Academy Award winners Robert Duvall and Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and 12-year-old Kodi Smit McPhee star in the big-screen adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's best-selling, Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Road – the story of a man (Mortensen) and his young son (Smit-McPhee) traveling through a desperate, post-apocalyptic world.
While the first posters to get passed around were virtually colorless, the final version comes with an updated tagline and, low and behold, lots of color to help point out the finer details; including rope:
