Sony Pictures Classics has acquired the domestic distribution rights to Rodrigo Garcia's drama, Mother and Child. With the film comes an ensemble cast that includes Annette Bening, Naomi Watts, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson.
Mother and Child Acquired
Written and directed by Garcia, Mother and Child centers around three women and the choices they've made concerning children. Though some of you might have already caught the film at the Toronto International Film Festival this September, the wide theatrical release will take place some time in 2010.
If you're not familiar with Garcia's work, the director previously helmed Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her and Nine Lives.
