Take it from me - Reading through source code sucks. That's why Vendome Pictures is reaching out to Jake Gyllenhaal, who they hope will agree to star in their sci-fi thriller.
Jake Gyllenhaal for Source Code
Titled Source Code, the film will be directed by Duncan Jones and center on a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown commuter and is forced to live and relive a harrowing train bombing until he can determine who is responsible for it.
If the film sounds familiar, it might, as Universal Pictures at one time took a shot at it with Topher Grace prepping to star. Summit Entertainment will now handle domestic distribution.
Gyllenhaal is currently filming Love and Other Drugs, helmed by Ed Zwick, and has two projects coming our way including Jim Sheridan's Brothers and Disney's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
