Winona Ryder
Though I can't imagine what could possibly be the holdup, Winona Ryder is in talks to join the cast of Darren Aronofsky's supernatural thriller Black Swan.
Winona Ryder Joining Black Swan?
Currently co-starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, Black Swan is set in the New York ballet world, the story centers on a veteran dancer (Portman) and a rival (Kunis) who are tangled in a manipulative relationship, but it's unclear whether the rival is real or a figment of the ballet dancer's imagination. Ryder will play a fellow dancer.
If she signs on, Winona Ryder can add Black Swan to her recent comeback to Hollywood. The actress was last seen in Star Trek -- a minor role, but still important -- and can next be seen in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. Not too shabby since the only headlines she made in the past decade had to do with shoplifting.
Fox Searchlight is in talks to both co-finance and distribute Black Swan.
