While at Disneyland yesterday I was discussing Avatar with another person at the amusement park and he expressed his concern about the film. Not that he doesn't think it looked good, because he most certainly did, but the lack of marketing was surprising considering all the buzz around this project for the past few years. To him, the marketing was so bad that he couldn't even remember the exact day of release. I told him not to worry, as it looks like 20th Century Fox will be turning up the (marketing) heat beginning this week. To get us warmed up for weeks of Avatar, we've been alerted to not one but two featurettes worth watching over the weekend.
New Avatar Featurettes
The good people at TrailerAddict and IGN have posted new featurettes for Avatar. Both are great and each makes sure to provide new footage from the film. Check them out below.
