Tommy Lee Jones has exited The Lincoln Lawyer. While normally this would mean the replacement of a castmember, Lakeshore now has double-duty, as Jones was going to direct and co-star with Matthew McConaughey.

Lakeshore is already seeking out a new director and still hopes to begin production next spring. Besides this bump in the road, the production was on track with a working script by John Romano.
Tommy Lee Jones is readying for an adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's Islands in the Stream, and can next be seen in the John Wells-directed The Company of Men, where he stars alongside Ben Affleck and Kevin Costner.
