Geeked about Avatar and have ten minutes to spare? Then you're in luck! Giving us something to feast on during Thanksgiving, 20th Century Fox has allowed James Cameron to release an extended featurette that not only shows us a part of his favorite scene in the film, but ten minutes of behind the scenes goodness.

Avatar Featurette is Long

Now, we all have now been told that a lot, and I do mean a lot, of work went into making Avatar possible. Hell, they're still working around the clock on the film as we speak. Besides the work, there was also a pretty coin spent as well. In short, just about everything James Cameron had at his disposal went into making this film. It was tough, we get it. Or do we?

To give us just a small sample of how hard it was to make Avatar, Fox has presented us with a ten-minute featurette that shows just some of the work that goes into making a single scene. Give the image below a click to check it out.

Avatar Avatar

Avatar opens to theaters on December 18th.
