You know I love My Sister’s Cancer and I will relish in the glorious death movie on Blu Ray. I don’t expect it to be a rollicking home theater demo, nor would I want it to be. My Sister’s Keeper is exactly the stark reality I want on Blu Ray.

Scenes show in realistic detail, like you’re looking through a window at a family home, city streets, a hospital, a meadow. The light is harsh, putting a spotlight on the actors portraying these difficult issues. It creates a sort of halo, but not a glow, just a focus on shining on them.
Everything looks acutely real so that your focus is on the ethical drama going on, not the scenery. There is a hint of film, not grain per se but something miniscule holding the image together.
